Siedem wspaniałych
Szukanie inspiracji w życiu, w świecie obok jest codziennością wielu artystów. Otoczenie: ludzie, zdarzenia, kolory, mijane bilbordy i reklamy – nawet te, których się widzieć i słyszeć nie chce, po prostu wszystko, wpływa na proces twórczy artysty. To Jego Świat. Wydaje się to oczywiste, trywialne, jednak tylko pozornie. Bo, jak porównać świat Indian Amazonii, do naszego? Jak się ma koloryt Portugalii, czy Hiszpanii do zimowej aury Polski?
Czy lutowe angielskie żonkile, to to samo co śnieżna zima tutaj? To tylko przykłady i można je mnożyć w nieskończoność. Chodzi mi tylko o to, by uświadomić sobie to, że nasza rzeczywistość jest polską rzeczywistością, inną od portugalskiej, hiszpańskiej, angielskiej, czy indiańskiej. Mamy różne postrzeganie świata: kochamy inne rzeczy, jesteśmy wierni innym kolorom, smakom i zwyczajom. I to jest właśnie czyste piękno, że gdzie indziej jest…. inaczej! Po prostu!
I oto moje „artystyczne siostry”, jak o sobie mawiamy, artystki, z którymi w większości wystawiałyśmy wielokrotnie w Hiszpanii, a także w Portugalii itd.,są w Polsce, w Ostrowie Wielkoposkim, w Galerii 33. Cieszę sią, że są tutaj.
Rosemary Casidy Buswell (Anglia), Agnieszka Dobrek (Polska), Bożena Kuzio-b (Polska), Mariola Landowska (Polska/Portugalia), Katia Munoz (Hiszpania/Peru), BEAta Pflanz (Polska), Natalia Wegner (Polska), to siedem światów tworzących swój niepowtarzalny własny, we wspaniałej i gościnnej przestrzeni Galerii 33.
I nie na darmo już starożytni twierdzili, że SIEDEM, jest magiczne i kompletne! Że to CAŁOŚĆ.
Rosemary, tym razem, zainspirowała się urokami Wenecji, barwami i jej aurą. Stworzyła cały cykl obrazów pełnych światła i koloru.
Agnieszka na co dzień obserwuje świat z wysokości 11 tys m i z tej perspektywy zatrzymuje uchwyconą w niezwykłych kadrach matkę Ziemię.
Bożena tworzy zwiewne obrazy (również) na tkaninie, nadając im niecodzienny wymiar, kiedy mogą być obserwowane z każdej strony.
Mariola od lat „ucieka” do Indian Amazonii, w poszukiwaniu pierwotnego piękna i człowieczeństwa, przenosi ich świat: kształty, rytuały i kolor na swe płótna.
Katia – Peruwianka, która od lat mieszka w Barcelonie, jest pełna kolorów z natury. Inaczej nie mogło by być. Stąd – bez względu na to co tworzy, kolor jest tu najistotniejszym elementem.
Natalia, w tylko sobie znany sposób potrafi zdefiniować swój horyzont. Misternie zbiera faktury i barwy, tworzy własny obraz świata i chowa go za szybą. Może po to, by stworzony piękniejszym, już takim pozostał?
BEAta (czyli ja), prezentowałam w Galerii 33 wielkie formaty pełne barw, mocne w odbiorze. Tym razem pokazuję też moje drugie, bardziej refleksyjne, stonowane oblicze i przestrzenne „tkane” obrazy.
Magiczne SIEDEM.
Siedem Wspaniałych– ale, strzelać nie będziemy, jak w słynnym westernie. No, może tylko energią i kolorem. Bo, przecież do tytułu podchodzimy z uśmiechem i dystansem.

The Magnificent Seven
Finding inspiration in life, in the nearby world is the everyday life of many artists. Our surroundings: people, events, colours, billboards and advertisements – even those things we do not want to see and hear, everything, affects the creative process. It’s our World. It seems obvious, even trivial, but only seemingly…..because, how does one compare the world of Amazonians to ours? How are the colours of Portugal or Spain different to the winter weather of Poland? Are the English daffodils of February the same as the winter snow here? These are just examples and can be multiplied indefinitely. My point is that we must realise that our reality is a Polish reality, different from Portuguese, Spanish, English or Indian. We have different perceptions of the world: we love other things, we are faithful to different colours, flavors and customs. This is pure beauty, we celebrate these differences…….
And here I present my „artistic sisters”, as we call ourselves, the artists with whom we mostly exhibit in Spain and Portugal, are now here in Poland, in Ostrów Wielkopolski, at Gallery 33. I am very happy that they are here . Rosemary Cassidy Buswell (England), AgnieszkaDobrek (Poland), BożenaKuzio-b (Poland), Mariola Landowska (Poland/Portugal), Katia Munoz (Spain / Peru), Natalia Wegner (Poland) and myself, BEAtaPflanz (Poland), seven different worlds creating a unique exhibition in the wonderful and hospitable space of Galeria 33. It is no surprise that the ancients claimed that SEVEN was a magical number, and here we are:
Rosemary – a citizen of the world, loves travelling. This time, she was inspired by the charms of Italy, Ravenna, Venice, Florence and Tuscany. She has created a series of images full of light and colour, hidden stories, evoking an aura and a sense of place.
Agnieszka, on a daily basis, observes the world from the height of 11 thousand metres, and from this perspective, she captures Mother Earth in her extraordinary frames. She has an uncanny sense of immortalising „this moment”, and gives her photographs a new, and spiritual dimension.
Bożena creates paintings, and also works on fabric. She curves reality and deprives it of its obviousness, adding further meanings to her work, so they can be observed from every perspective.
For many years, Mariola has been „fleeing” to the Indians of the Amazon, in search of their original beauty and genuine humanity. She translates their world, their shapes, rituals, and colours on to her canvases. Her paintings are full of life, of people and animals.
Katia, is a Peruvian girl, who has lived in Barcelona for many years. Her paintings are also full of colours from nature. No matter what she creates, colour is the most important element. With an unusual sense, she can show nostalgia and the atmosphere of a place in her work.
Natalia, in her own known way, can define her horizon. She intricately collects invoices and colours, creates her own image of the world and hides it behind the glass, maybe making it even more beautiful……
And lastly myself, BEAta…..I have previously exhibited in Gallery 33, large format paintings full of colour, strong and „cosmic” in conception. This time I am showing my second, more reflective and subdued side, and also my spatial „woven” images. The Magnificent Seven – but, we will not shoot from the hip, as in the famous Western, well, maybe only energy and colour. Because, after all, we approach the title of this show with a smile and our sense of humour!
